This set pairs the Plush king mattress with the matching king slatted base. The bed is 183 cm wide by 188 cm long, the standard South African king size, and 55 cm high in total, a 27 cm mattress on a 28 cm base.

The mattress carries 840 individually wrapped pocket springs, the count a bed this wide needs to keep weight spread across the surface rather than collecting between two sleepers, with support foam and massage foam above them for a plush feel and soft quilting under a knitted fabric cover. Maximum load is 120 kg per person. The base is a metal frame with pliable wooden slats, wrapped in dark synthetic leather and rated to 500 kg.

The whole king set comes in three boxes, one rolled mattress and two flat base boxes, which is what makes a bed this size possible to get up a staircase or into a flat. Assemble the base, unroll the mattress on top and let it expand.
